Great article. Really like the point about giving feedback right away. It helps the most when done immediately- just make sure to prepare a bit first. It isn’t effective if you rush.
I was in a meeting with one of my directors last week and she did a fantastic job answering some tough questions. I wasn't able to have a follow-up till later in the week but made sure at that point to provide the positive feedback.
I think this approach is much better then waiting for a dedicated feedback call - like for an annual performance reviews.
